Patrons were given the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets to vote for their choice of artwork. These are the top 5.

Summer School dates for the Elsberry R-2 School District are set. Mark you calendars. Enrollment info will be released at a later date.


Fine Arts Night is Thursday March 9 from 5-8 p.m.. You will be in awe of the talent in our EHS and EMS student body. Come see poetry, creative writing, sculpture, drawing, painting, singing, and instrumental performances. Attendees have the chance to help select the People's Choice Award. You will also have the opportunity to support these programs at the Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction.

Chris Tiller has been teaching Social Studies to seventh and eighth grade students for 10 years at Elsberry Middle School. His advice to all students is don't be sorry, be responsible. He hopes all students remember that he cared and that he believed they have potential.

Mother Nature may not be able to decide the season, but whatever the weather, we will be having a Spring Break March 14-17, 2023. The end of the 3rd quarter is March 10. Classes will resume on March 21.


Fine Arts Night is Thursday, March 9! Enjoy an evening seeing, hearing, and reading the talents of our EHS and EMS students while supporting our fine arts programs. There will be a spaghetti dinner, silent auction, and a People's Choice Contest. If you would be interested in volunteering or donating a silent auction item to the event please contact Rebecca Cooper at rcooper@elsberry.k12.mo.us.

The Girls on the Run program will be March 6-May 13 every Tuesday and Thursday immediatly after school until 5:15. This program is for students in grades 3-5. To register for the program please go to gostl.org or call 314-862-6266. More information has been sent home and is also in the attached images. If there are any girls in grades 6-8 or highschool girls who would like to be running buddies this is a great opportunity for A+ hours and community service hours. Tammy Cox is in her second year as a Title I Reading and Math teacher for the Elsberry School District. She works with students at the elementary and middle school grade levels. She was inspired by her fourth grade teacher, Mrs. Hoer, to become an educator.


It is time for spring sports! Practices start on Monday, February 27.


There are two kinds of books: read and missed opportunities.


The Lincoln County Health Department will be offering an immunization clinic at the Elsberry School District on Wednesday, April 5. The forms are attached to this post. All questions in regards to insurance and eligibility for the clinic need to be directed to the LCHD at 636-528-6117. The deadline to register and return all completed forms to school is Wednesday, March 29.
