The Mock Interview is a rite of passage for eighth grade students at EMS. Students create a resume and practice answering questions during ELA class before actually participating in an interview at school. This would not be possible without the support of our community and the volunteers who conduct the interviews. Please thank these people if you see them out and about in the community.

Mrs. Waller attended a conference on AI and technology in education. She used this information to conduct some deep conversations about the pros and cons of technology and Artificial Intelligence with her eighth grade students.

Volunteers are needed to help with Fine Arts Night. If you are able to help with one of the tasks below at Fine Arts Night this Thursday, March 14, please email Mr. Miller at jmiller@elsberry.k12.mo.us. Please include in your email when you are available and which task you would prefer. Fine Arts night is from 5-8 p.m. Even if you can't help out, make a point to stop by and see and hear the amazing work of our students. Mrs. Waller, Mr. Kreuger, and Mr. Miller took 8th grade students to see a play based on The Outsiders at St Charles Community College. 8th graders read The Outsiders this year in class.

FFA Contest at Elsberry
6th grade had to compete to declare a winner in the Soup-er Bowl Challenge. Mrs. Braden's class came in first followed by Mrs. Rockwell and then Mrs. Turner. Thank you Student Council for organizing this competition.
Let's give a shout out to our tranportation director Mr. Paul LaBanca, Jeremy LaBanca, mechanic, and all of our bus drivers. Bus inspections were Monday and our fleet received a score of 100%!
