Summer School does still have openings for middle school students! Remember, summer school is a different type of experience than the school day. So far these field trips are confirmed, Indian Camp Creek, St. Louis Zoo,
Wild Bird Sanctuary, Henry Lay Center, and Cuivre River State Park. If your child is leaving 4th-8th grade they are eligible to attend. Contact Karla Rimel at krimel@elsberry.k12.mo.us or call the EMS office at 573-898-5554 ext. 217 to enroll.
EMS is excited to announce our two MSHAA Awards of Excellence winners Isaiah Hausgen and Lucy Keeven. MSHSAA, in conjunction with the National Federation of State High School Associations are continuing their efforts to promote citizenship, integrity and positive sportsmanship through the interscholastic activity programs. Being an outstanding athlete is a huge accomplishment. This award recognizes student athletes who are also amazing people. We are so proud of you!
We celebrated our eighth grade students in a promotion ceremony yesterday. We are so proud of the progress these students made in middle school. A full album of photos will also be posted. Wagner Studios will be in touch with parents about individual photos.

The last day of school is this Thursday, May 22. It is a 12:35 p.m. dismissal. Reminder, there is no E2 or Explorer's Club on the last day of school. Remember, Summer School starts on June 3.

This week all 8th grade students toured the Pike Lincoln Tech Center and learned more about the programs offered during high school.
Our Girls on the Run group finished their 5K today! We are so proud of our students, staff, and parents who participated. 🏃🏼♀️🏅⭐️
