Today is National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day! We want to express our gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to our very own SRO Julie Conner today. The Elsberry School District is lucky to have her serving our students and staff each day.
Mrs. Ogden's art club students are having a lot of fun on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Students have been sketching, watercolor painting, canvas painting, creating popsicle stick art designs, designing 3D picture art, and there is still more fun to happen.
The 8th Graders learned more about what St. Charles Community College has to offer.
All students went to the Dardenne Creek campus where students looked at nursing labs and the professional kitchen. At Technical Campus Wentzville students learned about the robotics, welding and CDL programs. On main campus students learned more about the offerings at St. Charles Community College and how the A+ program benefits students.
The JA Finance trip for 7th graders included budgeting and life finance simulations but also has a focus on technical skill training. Students participated in virtual reality simulations such as an electrical lineman, fork lift operator training and heavy machinery training. A huge thank you to our many parent volunteers for attending.
