Cuivre River State Park has been visiting our 5th grade students during science. One visit was about adaptations and the students completed a bird beak experiment. Using household items as beaks, students got to see what type of food was easier and hardest to eat with their particular beak.

The EMS Student Council members did an excellent job organizing and speaking at our Veterans Day celebration. Students joined their Veterans for breakfast in the cafeteria. Next Mrs. Lynne Watson shared her story as a Marine. The EHS Band and the Treblemakers Honor Choir both performed multiple pieces. Duncan Whiteside concluded the assembly by playing Taps. We appreciate everyone who made this day possible and were thrilled by how many Veterans were able to attend. The people listed below deserve special recognition. Student Council Sponsors: Rachel Turner and Cari Braden EHS Band Director: Rebecca Cooper Treble Maker Choirmaster: Jenny Lynn Heras Breakfast: LCR-2 Cafeteria Staff Flags: Elsberry FFA
